i currently got a dell d420 to use at uni, but its gets soo hot.....

so i thought i might get a small 10" net book with atom processor so its lighter and maybe cooler. got around £200 to spend on new lappy, any one got any recommendations.

main 2 things is long battery life 5hr+ using word and web browsing, and stay relatively cool.

mainly looking at the nc10 right now, but any one else got any ideas?

also i know the atom is a cut down x86 architecture (i think...) would there be some programs unable to run on the net book because it wont have the instructions supported?

I'm really liking the look of the Asus 1008HA/1005HA at this point. Can't help but feel the NC10 is a bit old now and still quite pricey. There are some cashback deals on the Samsung N130 that may suit.

I'm not sure about the CPU architecture.

i'm using a Toshiba NB100. I've had it a few months and I haven't done much with it. She seems to run most programs well, but I haven't tried anything too taxing with her.
