Advice On Best Case

My head's spinning. Just give me two cases to choose from; one black and one silver, then it would be easy :(

Anyway, I'm trying to choose a new case and although I don't really have a budget, I was looking around <=£120. I may add water later but I was interested in seeing a Water V Air thread first :)

Currently in mind is the Antec P180 or Akasa Eclipse 62.

I prefer black, although I know I could spray it.

Already purchased to sit in said case:

Core DUo 6600

ASUS P5W DH

2Gb GeIL 6400 4-4-4-12

2 x ATI 1600 in CFire

Any advice would be welcomed with chugs of beer/JD. :beerchug:

Cheers,

Andy

The Akasa Eclipse is a very spacious case with lots of room for water cooling.

Have you possibly considered a Lian Li or Silverstone case?

Did you have a particular one in mind?

I was hoping to pick one that was in stock. (Eager to get started this weekend!)

Also, what are they like for air filtering? If there's one thing I hate, it's hoovering out my rigs every three months because there full of crap.

(1 Coolermaster and 1 Tsunami)

'In stock' in general - or in stock over at specialtech?

Yea, SpecialTech. I like to keep the sponsors happy.

I'm waiting for a reply from them to see if they can get Hitachi HD's.

The silverstone TJ03 is a stupidly nice case and looks stupidly sweet looking. Ill get some pics of minein a bit

If you really want to watercool, you could do worse than a coolermaster stacker but it does depend on what looks you want to go for

Thanks Shiftlocked. Pics would be great.

I'm gonna scout the manufacturers sites this lunch as well.

What's the case sealing like on your TJ03? With poor air flow balancing, I get a fair amount of dust that gets sucked in where it should'nt on this CoolerMaster case. On my Tsunami, it's better as there's a front filter but the side fan looks rubbish with a filter. Guess I'll have to hoover up more ;)

Check out some of the midtower Lian Li's in both black and silver. They're dead sexy and built to the highest standards. I've rocked Lian Li cases for ages in almost every build since Lian Li was introduced to the market.

The Silverstone cases are superb as well. Neither Silverstone or Lian Li make the cheapest cases however, hehe.

Thermaltake and Cooler Master have some decent cases that are very reasonably priced.
