acer 235h 3d???

hi all i managed to break my 3d glasses what came with my monitor i understand there passive glasses so was wondering will any passive ones work or do i need to fork out £35 to acer for replacements..

reason im asking is i can walk into my local cinema and pick up pairs for £1 each lol
