Abit IS7 DEAD a Sleeping Beauty

I have an Abit IS7 which is dead (bought at a boot Sale ) It looks beautiful in the box with all the gubbins disk etc . I wonder if the bios could be buggered? Anyone had a similar situation where a quick change of bios chip returned it to vibrant life?

Have you hooked it all up? if so, what happens when you try to power on?

I can't remember exactly what happenned when it was fired up except it did not work. I will try in the next week (when I can find a suitable case - or empty one) to see exactly what happens and report back. These visits to the local tip and boot sales are resulting in me not being able to move in my study for cases and computer parts!! Gotta do some serious sortin

Just fired up the board and managed to get up the bios:

CPU is unworkable or has been changed?

I am using my 3200 Intel maybee the bios are too old for this CPU?

Loadin the defaults don't do nothing!

I have tried loading the latest bios from Abit but will not load from ALT+P2 or indeed from the floppy using DOS
