A small thing i am working on

Hey guys its Destro :)
I am just working on a small project that I might use for my college certificate 4 in game development that I am currently studying.

This is a small thing I made in an hour on the Unity 4 Engine which I have never used before. The objects used are not my Best unfortunately as I had trouble exporting my terrain, and some more advanced Assets.

My friend has spent a few months using Unity but he mostly uses Free models and other such Assets. I personally think that its more rewarding using my own Assets in the creation of the mini-game.

I haven't wrote any code in this project as I still need to learn that aspect of the engine. I know that the screenshots would look pretty crap by anyone's standards  but I thought I might as well show it anyway.

A few things to point out: I haven't had a chance to make a water texture yet but I will get around to it im currently using a placeholder.
For some reason that is unknown to me I cant seem to texture the sword properly :(
And the smoke on the building was to create an atmosphere of chaos ect.

The project might turn into a small zombie themed game but I am not sure yet. One thing I am sure of though is that I will try to overhaul the textures as I do not really like the current ones apart from the building but even that needs work.

Tell me what you think :D Add any suggestions on any way I could approach the project, And any advice on unity in general :)

You're creating the assets in a proper modelling package then importing them in right?

yeah in 3ds Max 2013 currently using the educational license, I had trouble with terrain imports though. just using my older assets
