Heres another build of mine, the only other on the bench other then Sdumpers at the moment. Just finished pressure testing her today. She should be SILENT. Running a 1/5hp compressor, in a shiney runmc case, with silent 52 cfm 120mm fans, it still has the power to cool a dual core x6800. I will be tuning it for 200 watts, and temperatures arent as much the goal with this unit as looks and quiet.
So heres some pics, enjoy everyone.
I also tried a bit of something new with the capillary. I ran it inside the suction line then brought it out at the bottom. This should improve suction cooling, and hopefully not have any adverse effects. With phase we almost all used to do this and I dont really know why we stopped. It makes evaps a bit harder, but with this evap its easiest.
That and I will most likely soft solder the rest of the capillary to the outside of the suction to improve heat exchange even more.
