Before I start I should mention that I submitted this thread in the review's section rather stupidly. Hopefully they will just delete that.
I couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness, more than a tinge actually. After Tom explained he's split up with his long-term partner and the reasons behind 'Timetolive'. I won't dwell any more on that as I only recently lost my mother to Alzheimer's so mum's and death are not my favourite talking point at the moment.
I'm sure some of you will have been through the aftermath of a split involving you or them moving out. The last time it was her moving out, I felt very lonely and the PC (which I had practically left her for) lol Was not quite as tempting as before..... I'm wondering if Tom's relationship breakdown was due to similar circumstances i.e. "it's me or the PC" Tom?
Have you ever made someone a 'PC widow'?
Due to TTL's work commitments I imagine it would have been very hard keeping a relationship going also, especially if your GF starts resenting what you do for a living and the time you put into it, which was the case with me.
My history is i'm a musician and I can't tell you the amount of birds i've lost through that! But even worse, was the last one who was fed up of my gaming addiction, I spent hours, whenever I could basically..gaming and rehearsing with the band. I remember one time she said "why don't you play with me instead of the computer" lol The thing is, I was bored, the novelty of a new game had become far more interesting than she could ever be. I'm not even sure I can change this attitude with gaming i've had since I was 14yrs old. Women have come and gone, but the new games just keep coming out! And getting better and better!!
Oh, will I ever be set free...
ps
I really hope it works out for Tom as re-painting and changing your house around is no substitute for a good, hard shag
Unless you're bored of shagging her that is lol
