A new way of Air Cooling

Actually this makes a lot of sense, it's getting a lot of air onto the contact patch. Just because it isn't touching doesn't mean it can't cool efficiently.
 
Interesting... Maybe we'll finally get a noctua killer. Althought he says it spins at a "several thousand rpm" , which means it aint gonna be quiet.

doubt it will kill the noctua lol. It had better be balanced perfectly too otherwise it will rip itself apart lol.

Just how is the heat transfering through the "Air Gap" ??? I was under the impression that air is an insulator not a conductor...
