if the 280x is so popular that they are still making the 280x v2, why cant they make more of the 280x matrix cause its just the perfect 280x for any multimonitor overclocker

If you want a super OC able 280x you should look at other vendors, such as Sapphire (their tri-x 280x does 1200 on the core out of the box) or gigabyte.
Personally I've pushed my Asus 280x to 1120 before it gets unstable.
The Matrix wasn't all that great either if memory serves me correctly.
I'm not sure what it is your angry about, Asus pretty much cater for all eventualities with plenty of variants on the R9 280X cards.. and not every one who buys a card is a multi-monitor Overclocker, that is a very niche market indeed.
