98860's Continuous Climb in F@H Ranking

Core_15_2.22.
i am now setup as Steve but still not a single 8057p :(

Yeah that's why I was asking as I'm running the same on my 570's, I've pulled an 8018, but from what I've read the 8057's are only going to "beta" folders.

Now i am not 100% sure,
but i thought you didn´t need to add the `beta` flag but i just did anyway to be 100% sure :) ...

Ray....

Well with the beta flag set I've just pulled an 8057 on my other 570.
I'm not sure it fits within the F@H Policy or not to set yourself to beta.

From reading I understand these to be validation WU's and they are given to beta folders to allow feedback. I'm keeping an eye on my log for any errors anyway.
I'm sure Steve will be able to clear it up for us, but they are giving massive bonus.
85k PPD on a stock 570 with the 8057 WU's:o

Good call ..
IIRC i am a `beta` tester but its a long time ago.. i was on the FAH forums , OOPS.....

OMFG think of one of those on my overclocked GTX680 or 670 :p;)

Alot of beta folders haven't even had one yet either, only thing is if we get them & then run into problems they won't offer us any support.

Also make sure you're running FahCore_15 V2.22 & not 2.25 for max points.

If I were you mate I would be running beta anyway full time as the production value for keplar on the non beta WU's is chronic.

I've just switched from 2.25 to 2.22 and haven't noticed a change in PPD, but I'll leave it on 2.22 as that seems to be the core they want the WU's done on.

8057 right away! after adding the `beta` flag , so that´s something you NEED to do :)
EDIT main rig (GTX680) has one as well, now only on my GTX460's ;)

Greetings , Ray........

with the 8057 WU on one gpu of my 690 i get around 140k ppd so if both get a 8057 wu and smp on a hexacore i can get almost 300k ppd its about just under 20k per unit and it takes 3 to 3.5 hours.

perhaps a TTL vid on the way AMD's are folding might boost interest as well as give Tom some brownie points with AMD - Lord knows with the 3 green cards ahead of AMD's "flagship", they could use the positive pub!

^_^

Fold One for Red

Why don't we set up something like "Fold One for Red". If we set up a user say "RedlineFolder" and get a passkey set up, and put 10 WU into it. Then if people want to try folding they can use that account and immediately get QRB and more collective points for the team.

This could net us far more points, as new users would be getting QRB straight away rather than having to fold 10 WU before they see any significant points.

It also means that this "team user" will fly up the team rankings, and make it far more interesting for new users.

This won't stop individual setting up their own account if thay so wish, its just another option...
