900D Watercooling

Does this make sense for a water cooling loop in the 900D? Is there a more visually pleasing way to set it up? Is there a more efficient way to set it up? Constructive Criticism.

The only thing that matters is that you go from the res directly to the pump, the rest of the loop just needs to look tidy

I know lol I just realised:) If you can could you do a visual image for me on how you would set it up? Here's the link : http://puu.sh/aOfWg/440cf70d14.jpg

I was thinking Res>Cpu>Rad>Gpu 1>Gpu 2>Rad 2>Pump. How about that?

you gotta remember aesthetics is important toooo-

my layout RES/PUMP- 240 rad-360 rad-mobo-cpu-mobo-GPU.

if your bouncing all over the place go ing back and forth from rads is its going to be a tubing nightmare.

I would really appreciate it if you take 2 minutes use the link to the case and do a diagram up in paint for me of how you would set it up. I'm not that good with creating a image in my head with words. Thanks. BTW the top is a 360mm Triple Rad and the bottom rad is a Quad rad.

well i need to know all the variables to draws some up as i would with the parts i had on had.

basically a list of your WC gear you plan to use.

More visually pleasing and efficient you say. Hmmmm... I think I may have missed the part where you said at a sensible cost. Anyway here's what i'd do with the unlimited money cheat/somebody elses money. I'm also assuming because of this that they are two Titan Z's in SLI.

Sorry I went full waterpark on the CPU area, obviously I didn't know what board/blocks I was using.

wtf no. just no.
dual loops are messy af, ram blocks are not needed at all

The 900D can rock all that it's dench. I was just having a lol doing paint tbh buddy, my ideas for the 900D are not like everyone else's I've barely seen any with all of the HDD's and optical drives removed. Anyway.

^Is that the wrong radiator OP? I thought the 900D can only fit a 480 or 420? It's gonna be a pretty tight mod to fit a 600mm+ radiator in a case that's only 650mm long on the outside.

Either way i'd put two 480's in it all day, may as well get a smaller case if not.

Oh don't worry i'm removing those HDD bay immediately and throwing them in the bin! But it a bit messy and hard to read, I'm using 2 rads not 3 ant the bottom rad link is a mistake I'll correct that. But only 2 rads not 3, it will be too messy, does anyone else have any ideas? And its 2 780Ti not Titan Z.

So can someone confirm is my current setup I chose fine?
How about this is it too messy?

It will take a lot of effort to fit the 560mm Monsta in the bottom and from the looks of it it wouldn't be a clean mod either because there's nowhere nice for the end tanks to go. Also are you deadly sure at 83mm thick the Monsta isn't too big for the bottom of the case?

Additionaly is there any reason why your not putting a 480 in the roof? In your position I would get two 480 UT60's

I think that is a 60mm 560mm rad below which clearly is really pushing it even with stupid mods.

EDIT: Both of your loop strategies look fine, the second is very similar to mine but if your using flexible tube it may end up looking messy with an X79 board, I went to great lengths to avoid having pipework passing infront of the memory. Also with the CPU block mounted with the fittings aligned horizontally it should look better IMO.

GPU Block x2 - http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop...over-Waterblock--Copper-Acetal-pid-22919.html

Tube Reservoir

Pump

I am going for a push/pull at the top so if I put a 480 I won't be able to do that will I ?so I went 360.

And the picture of what you did with the loop is fine to me so I'm happy. Can you give me the full rig of that build?

I'd say run the top GPU block to the bottom CPU block fitting, then the top fitting the the front rad fitting, then the back rad fitting to the res by routing the tubing behind the mobo tray or behind the rad.

Here you can see all of the radiator sizes which natively fit inside the 900D.

At the bottom you will have room for a 480 (not a 560!) with 110mm clearance to the PSU so when you take off one set of fans (25mm) that leaves 85mm for a radiator. That would mean a Monsta would be just 2mm away from the PSU which really isn't enough clearance hence for the bottom I would suggest a 480UT60 if your running one set of fans.

The top is exactly the same story with 110mm of clearance to the top of the motherboard meaning a UT60 + 2 sets of fans (50mm) will fit nicely (110mm total). As for the length of radiator you choose at the top the only difference is a 480mm will block off your top two optical bays completely whereas a 360mm would sit right up to the back of them. Hence my suggestion of two 480 UT60's assuming you won't be using the optical bays (or at least 2 of them).

Yeah sure it's my rig which i'm still working on - [Project log] αclass

I'm nit sure what your getting at here, could you clarify this a bit more clearly for me?
