Hello guys I'm from Brazil and I'm building a new Rig, I'm trying to figure out what is the best VGA for me.
First things first I will be using this rig for video editing and post production(Premiere and After Effects), 3D rendering(Maya and 3DS Max), Image editing(Photoshop and Illustrator), and finally for gaming
The VGA that I really wanted was a Nvidia Quadro 4000 but they are very expensive and I'm trying to build a balanced Rig for gaming and working.
I always had Nvidia Card, and I'm used to they technology like PhysX, Cuda, 3D surround, 3D Vison(actually I still have the 3D monitor and glasses). And the new technology that I wanted to try as FXAA and Adaptive V-Sync
On second hand I live in a country where PC hardware is very expensive, and I noticed that the AMD Cards are cheaper than the Nvidia cards. But what push me back is that I never had nothing made by AMD since my first computer(Sempron). And I don't see that AMD have all the technology that Nvidia Offers
What I noticed that AMD have more "Brutal" cards, the 7950 have a 384bits, 3GB memory. The 660ti have 192bits memory(this is what cripple this card), 2GB memory but it have better Clock speeds

Imho all the programs that you are using are more cuda friendly! So i, for that, i would choose the nvidia one, but for games without a doubt the 7950.
