Too true nick mate.

Gaming at 1600x1200 seems to be the next thing for me which (as alway) means and upgrade is required, this time its the monitor.

Not that 1280x1024 is bad, but I am not realising the full power of the cards by running this.

So if anyone has a 23 or 24" widescreen TFT with 16ms or lower response time to offload PM me I wight be interested.

Pinto mate - looks like the challenge ahead for you is tough - have liad down some decent scores using FM approved 77.72 drivers.

'kinell mate - thats one awesome overclock on the FX57 - looks like you got a sweet chip there - most here are crappin out at 3.5Ghz.

Okay, the best way to get rid on the cold bug is to back-up the card BIOS - Use NIBITOR 2.2a and uncheck the 6600GT Temp trick box and then flash back to the cards.

That gets rid of the cold bug - flashing the cards with higher 3d and trottle clock speeds will prevent thermal throttling through the benchmark and it looks as though you got 100mhz to add onto the RAM speed to make sure you set 2d voltage to 1,4v in NIBITOR before re-flashing.

Yep I got SLI FLASH and NIBITOR 2.2a from www.mvktech.net works great on the cards.

I guess it is fair to say there are some risks involved but I have not yet had a bad experience that I cant repair by re-flashing back to original BIOS.

Just wandering is I could get 1GB sticks of ballistix to run tigher timings than what you have at 250Mhz witht eh Corsair?

when i get my 7800gtx i wanna pelt it so all been well i can get 10k on one card i wanna get a very good clock with oen card you see , no point in sli for me 1. for cost 2. i dont run resolution above 1024x1024
