7800GT Questions

Hello All

I am looking into buying a 7800GT but dont know what clocks i should expect from one with a stock cooler that comes at the stock speed of 400mhz.

I was thinking of getting this one due to it being the cheapest around and including Call Of Duty 2:

Has anyone got one of these or know where i can find a review for one but to me it just looks like any other standard 7800GT.

Also i need to know if it comes with a DVI to VGA adaptor as my TFT monitor only supports VGA

mine came with 2 so yes to that sam

i think the others might agree with me on going for a better brand like xfx,bfg,etc

I got an XFX extreme black edition that is clocked at 450/1050 and it works fantastic

The 7800GT's are pretty damn generic unless ur buying a special edition one. The PixelView you linked to is probably the exact same cards as you would get from XFX or eVGA.

id get a xfx card i have there 6800gt atm and its great

bfg card comes overclocked and with 2 dvi-vga converters just so u know.. and it's luverly

Having the XFX XXX 512mb edition card I would say XFX cards are awesome

Well Im back, Moved into my new house and i am now on 2.2mb broadband instead of 1.1

I got the XFX 7800GT Extreme Edition and it is the led version and it comes with a full copy of call of duty 2 in the box which was a surprize.

As for overclocking i havent tried yet but they come standard at 450mhz.

I did a 3DMARK 03 and got 14700 where as i got 11500 with my X800 Pro.
