760 or 7950

Which would you pick ?
Don't care for the Never Settle stuff

Theyre both about the same card performance wise. Some games the 7950 will outperform while on others, the 760 will be the fastest. But with 7950's going for $210 and up right now and 760's from $250 and up, Id say the 7950 is the better way to go and save the $40.

Or wait till Sept 25th as AMD is announcing new cards. May not be releasing anything but may lower the value of the current cards to be able to get them cheaper.

HD 7950 gets my vote too. Performance-wise it doesn't matter much, though I did think the 7950 was slightly faster and it's also cheaper...

Waiting for the 25th is not a bad idea either though.

Maybe i should have mentioned that a 760 is 20 euros cheaper here.
Its between a 7950 vapor x or a 760 twin frozr gaming.
I will need to wait till the end of the month regardless

Alot of newer games, especially console ports to the PC will be "games for AMD" so if your going to be buying new games on launch they will possibly run better on the 7950, but once Nvidia come out with compatible drivers then the cards will be even then AMD will make better drivers then Nvidia and so on, but honestly see what happens when the newer cards come out.

7950, especially with the never settle forever promotion going on right now it's impossible almost to not pick that up. Wish MSI had better sale prices lately but MSI is my brand =3
