6950/6970 to Crossfire

Hi Guys,
I have a HD 6950 2gb flashed with the 6970 bios, Now that there rather cheap on ebay i'm planning on going crossfire at christmas.

My question is, do i buy a 2gb 6950, rather cheap, or do i buy a 6970 2gb, bit more expensive?

Well even though 6950 and a 6970 will crossfire it is still better to have two of the same cards so If you already have a 6970 then I say go for the 6970

try to use the same cards just to make sure...
get another 6950 and flash it with the 6970 bios, like you did with the other card

Thanks guys, will keep an eye on ebay for the 6950s.

If I was to say, put a 6990 in (there not crazy money) and corssfire it with my 6950(6970) would that scale okay?

Seeing a PSU upgrade coming soon....

I wouldn't bother with that. will probably be a lot more trouble than its worth. and 6990's are mega hot/loud.
