The 6870 was a powerful card when I got it, it's done fine up till now with out CF and now when I was thinking of adding another it seems I'd be better getting a 7870 which will run everything fine in 1080p for the next couple of years as my 6870 has and when it's time it needs CF it will be better getting the 8870 or 9870, which suggests for someone running 1 monitor at 1080p CF/SLI is a mute subject
