6600GT on 4XAGP?

Could anyone explain this to me? Looking in Everest I found this page (screenie) and it says that AGP is disabled and that it is running at 4x?

I have checked my BIOS and I've set it to 8X agp rather than Auto but it says this in Everest. Is Everest talking shit or is sumthin goin on?

Sounds like the chipset drivers haven't been installed properly.

Actually ur just fine mate... I had a similar problem and when I asked an nvidia rep he said everything was normal and it refers to something other than the slot speed of 8x.

Cheers guys. My HD's been runing on my old NF2 motherbaord, then my m8s NF4 motherbaord and now my NF3 motherboard. dunnno if that makes any difference?

By the way I have fixed this issue. Everest was in fact telling the truth and I just needed to install some 'GART' drivers?? Anywayits running at 8x now and FPs increased in many games
