600T/GTX Titan build

With all that money spent I would have just got one of the Caselabs cases tbh and watercooled it... Also, surely, if you can afford a GTX Titan and a Skyline, you should be able to afford renting a garage or a safe parking space somewhere mate :D

I'm not actually that rich of a person, I just spend my little money on things/hobbies that I love the most and avoid spending too much on alcohol and the like. :p

I did think about Caselabs for a long while, but they still don't have a european warehouse or a dealer as far as I know, so everything would have to be ordered from the US (import taxes, VAT, toll..) and that would end up costing an arm and a leg.

Took a quick dark shot of the case with everything turned on, the backlit Geforce logo just puts a big grin on my face every time I look at it. :D

It's pretty much all from the Rampage IV, over emphasized with a long shutter time. Might stick a white CCFL in there somewhere later on.

Looks great! and I'd swap a Cosmos 2 for a 600T any day if I had these parts. Cosmos 2 is overkill.

Go for a nice LED strip if anything mate.

that is pretty much how i will do it in the future as well, as soon as i'm done with school.

Great looking build. I'm sure the performance is lovely. The main thing about the 600T/650D that I don't like is the small window that favors the bottom of the case and blocks the view of part of the CPU area. I wish Corsair could have figured out a way to make a nice door latch system and also give a larger side panel window.

Cheers. And that's very true about the window. I know Mnpctech does a full sidepanel sized window from thick plexiglass for the 600T that fits flush, but somehow I wouldn't want the entire panel to be seethrough either.

Anyhow, for the moment it's satisfactory. I'm hoping Corsair will make an updated 650T or something with a larger window, 140mm fan support, internal USB 3.0 headers and so on. After all, this is starting to be an ancient case by modern standards, but I still love the looks of it!

Hehe, being a college student working the odd job here and there, I have the exact same approach. I focus my spending on what I love (mostly PC's for the moment) and save money elsewhere. Many people do the same thing with their cars.

This allows for some rather luxurious PC's (well, two plus a laptop ;)) without breaking the bank at the end of the month :)

I really liked the look of the 650D (and still do) but there are a bunch of things about it that I didn't like once I got it (I have a 40 min video about it and I didn't even remember everything) .

For my next case I'm going to be looking at something in a higher price range because i'm very fussy about build quality and i like high quality materials like aluminum etc. my next case will likely be either Lian Li or Silverstone.

As far as windows go I actually do like the look of a 100% full window. I kj know some people don't like seeing the drive bays, but I like it and there is just something about a 100% window that looks interesting to me and I like it.

I'm the same. Studying at uni, working, getting no support from my parents, renting my own place, spending next to nothing on those stupid things and saving up for big stuff. + buying other things I like on the way, haha.

But swapping parts like H100/H100i, Cosmos 2/600T, 2x680's/Titan isn't exactly saving either. Although that's a whole 'nother story. I wouldn't have been able to say goodbye to a Skyline though. Never. I'm dreaming myself of a Nissan s14a, preferably to start with a completely untouched stock one. The only problem is, that the insurance in this country costs as much as the car itself. Back home a year's insurance would've cost me 200 pounds, here it's like 2550, ridiculous. My grandfather back home pays 10 pounds a year for his.

I suppose it's a matter of how that bit of the case looks. A full transparent door on my Storm Trooper wouldn't look very nice imo, cause it's just screwholes and screws there. Unless you modify it of course. + its plain square. Whereas a door on a 600T has some shape to it which makes it a bit more interesting.

Thanks!

Added couple of lights inside the case, looks much better in the dark now. Also re-attached the original RAM heatspreaders as NH-D14 isn't blocking them anymore. Today I'll dremel off the unnecessary support bits on the top vent because they are touching the fans blocking the airflow and causing some extra noise.

The photos don't really represent how it looks in real life, the logo is plenty bright and overcomes the case CCFL's. Trying to photograph the Titans logo is a proper PITA, it's always too bright or too dim, or just weird hue in general.

I only wish the H100i logo was brighter and whiter, it kind of has a green'ish hue to it.
