nice build. that case and the silverstone raven are the best white cases i have seen

have you used used your blu ray drive yet? my mate has one of them in his build and can not get it working for love nor money (was just a expensive dvd/cd player)

thanks, no i havnt tried it with blueray. i have no idea why it wouldent work tho..

no, as long as the ram occupy's the similar col9our slots it is ok.. either all red covered or all black covered.. i.e cannot be half and half..

the only reason i can see for doing that over the other way is to fit a larger cooler on.. as i have a h100, this is unnecessary

For them to run in dual channel don't they have to be in the red ones though, all other Asus motherboards it's the first slot from the right and the second from the left for dual channel other wise the RAM runs in single channel mode.

As far as I know for them to run in dual channel they should be in the red ones. It's up to you if you want to switch them i'm not sure how much of a difference it will make if you do I just know for dual channel they should be in the red slots.

Yeah, make sure you turn your PC off first before removing them or putting them back in. Just switch slots and that is all you need to do, you may need to manually set timings, frequency and voltage in the BIOS after you change them round though.
