I will be building a new gaming rig here in a few weeks and this is what I have so far been reading reviews on all of the parts and it all seams rock solid just wanted to check compatibility of the components as well as see if there is any other suggestions. still debating on using dominator platinum instead because I want to hook the whole system up to corsair link at a later date. I know the power supply is over kill for this build but it gives me the best value and saves me 60 bucks on individually sleeved cables. went with the blackline for the tight timings and low cas latency. either way let me know what you guys think.

ps: is there any notable consequences of using 2 sets of 2x4gb ram vs a set of 4x4gb ram? the reason I ask is the only have the dominator platinum 1600 in sets of 2x4gb

850w is overkill, Get a graphics card with an aftermarket cooler, Drop down to 8gb of ram - no need what so ever for 16gb and I would not bother with the Sabertooth. Also Mushkin ftw

I wanted the EVGA 670 FTW for further water cooling options and I also plan on getting a second 670 and your right I know the AXX850 is over kill but I figure two 670s plus water cooling and overclocking it should be just about right. What other mother boards would you suggest I would prefer to stick with ASUS but my options are open

i have 2x 670 ftw in mine bud with an 850w psu, handles it fine, the sabertooth is a great board it wont let you down.

Good to hear that the 850 will be about right when I get there and I looked at the MSI board it has a lot of good feedback will be checking out more reviews and such soon. I will be ordering this beast in a few weeks and open to any other suggestion that would improve performance at a similar price point
