5870 freezing issues

I dont know if its from a windows 7 update or a driver update on my 5870 but recently my system freezes up every once in awhile while gaming/ ive checked my temps and they all seem pretty good. My cpu never gets above 47C at the very most and my 5870 i have the fan set at 60% all the time and also never gets about around 48C.

Has anyone else been experiencing this issue/? Ive updated all my drivers and still have this problem/ even tried underclocking my GPU. Still doesnt seem to stop it/

I get blue screen freezes when the system is idle sometimes. Think we need to wait a little while for the bugs to be ironed out of the drivers tbh, they are still in their infancy really...

Sounds more like a driver issue than a temp issue... 48 Degrees is nothing, they are good up to and over 80! And your CPU temps are fine.

Would suggest uninstall of drivers, run driversweeper, reinstall and maybe try a little overclock of the card as this has resolved some peoples issues on the net. Try MSI afterburner or just give it a little tweak in CCC.... Say + 10mhz Core and Mem... Might help.
