580 VS 590

I am having a huge pc makeover soon and the goal for the summer is GPU upgrade time.

The obvious choices are 580 and the almighty 590 but i heard bad things about the 590 like having bad Memory cooling or VRM cooling, now i know the voltage thing has been fixed i think but which is best for me.

I'd go with 2 580s or 2 570s before I'd go for a 590. What about 2 570's instead of a single 580?

I like EVGA alot.

My ideas for the next rig I want a custom overclocking cards if Nvidia cards are standard issue style so I'll wait for MSI and I hope EVGA get into that market, like the MSI 580 Lightning TF3 but a GTX 680/880

I prefer the cooler that exhausts heat out the back so we'll see what's available or I make a test bench setup, hmmm ?

Oh well i guess its buy and be outdated in 4 hours

concerning the twin msi thingy, i dint like the look of it has to be sweet looking and for me ref design for me is the best.

Yes. I think it's the dedicated tesselation engineering that makes these chips alot hotter including HD 69XX's & GTX 4xx GF 100's
