560ti issues

So my brother just got a 560ti today, but we are running into some issues.

For one we are only getting 20.14 in cinebench OpenGL.

Second, he also has CS5.5 (legit) and we cant seem to get any GPU acceleration working whether it be OpenGL or CUDA.

What Gives?

This card is ONLY being used for these things NOT GAMING.

His board is an 890FX board with a 955 stock.

Hi,

The 560 cards should all be fully CUDA and PhysX enabled and should provide acceleration. I thought even my very old 8800GT did this, being one of the first range of models that did.

Download GPUz and check that ALL boxes are showing as ticked, if they're not then I suspect there's a driver issue - a full & clean install of the latest WHQL drivers (280.26) would hopefully help.

Note: I just checked GPUZ (5.5, not quite the latest) and it shows my old 8800GT as supporting OpenCL, CUDA, PhysX and direct Compute 4.0.

Cheers,

Scoob.

The 560Ti isn't listed on this page as supported, although I'm sure it is if the 570 is.

Have you removed and reinstalled the latest drivers? Any patches available for CS5.5 that adds support?

Edit: What card did he have before the 560? Have you tried using a driver cleaner?

I know the 560ti works because I say a video on YouTube of a guy using it with Premier, that list was created before the 560ti was released I believe. We have not gotten around to re installing anything, and the card he had before was a 5770 and yes we driver swept it.
