560ti 2gb sli vs 680

I would get the GTX680 only because it gives you options in the future, by getting 2 560Ti you would be "saturated" and would not be able to upgrade in the future, but with a 680 you can + its always best to invest in the newest as it is more efficient at what it does.

It may not be as good as 2 560ti's but i would recommend you to get the 680, rather than 2 560ti's as the upgrade path for them would end there.

there will come a day when you will need a better card for more demanding games, and it would be more feasible to add another gtx680 which will still be a good upgrade and cheaper then getting a new card entirely.

Hope that helps

I just got rid of one of my 560ti's as the extra performance wasn't worth the £180 price tag,

I used to be an SLI fan boy but recent chips have really let the tech down.

Go for a single 680 imo a single card is always better than 2

Also note 560ti 384 cores x2 for SLI+ 768 cores total

680 has 1536 cores

not olnly that these are clocked way higher than any 560ti

i tried to get my 560ti to 1ghz and it just wouldn't have lol lots of atifacting, heat issues, stabilty issues and of course the godd old BSOD

So 680, i would if i could afford it

I'm getting the GTX 680!

I just got back from my friends house who just got his 680 today and boy do I love it, I'm getting the 2gb model and wont bother with a 4gb. Although I will have to purchase through Amazon now, and all the cards are $600+
