500r Window Modding help!

Hello, Wanted to ask the advice of some of you! i have had my 500r for 1 day now and already want to put a window in it! i have some pictures of the side panel at frist it looks pretty easy to me because the mesh is just held on by tabs on the inner side:

But could some one tell me the best way to go about doing it?

There are two options with this layout. You can remove the mesh and fold back the parts that are hanging over but that would probably crack the powder coat. The other option is to buy some U-Bend and get a dremel on the side panel. Then the perspex can be stuck to the U-Bend.

You'll need to buy 2 metres of it though as 1 wont be enough to cover it. Is on the bay for £2.99 a metre

I would have screwed on the acrylic on outside by drilling holes like this. That way you dont need a dremmel to remove all the stuff on inside of the door + i think it will look good. Smoked acrylic could be nice on that color theme

Edit: Probably gonna end it with clear stuff but should still be pretty good

can always get the smokey stuff later

remove the mesh, bend back the tops and stick on the window with the stuff they use for car number plates or any other decent double sided tape
