5.25 bay fan holders.

This question to me seemed to fit here more so than the water/air cooling forums to me so...

Ive been looking for some 5.25 bay mounts for 120mm fans/rads that mount to both sides of the bay and not just a single side like the XSPC/Bitspower radiator mounts for a while and i just cant seem to find them. A picture of what i mean below. If anyone knows where i can get something similar I would love you long time.

Those brackets actually look identical to the brackets used in the Switch 810 to attach fans to hard drive cages.

I'm struggling to find my own to confirm it, but they do look suspiciously similar.

Looking at my case, they would be the right width for it, would probably take a drill to make a couple of holes to fit though.

Yeah i noticed the HDD cage fan mounts on the switch looked very similar to them myself not long after i started looking around for the ones in the picture above, but not realy practical to obtain tho tbh lol.

I just remembered about THESE and might well go for them if i cant find any like the ones pictured, can pick up 2 sets for the same price as a pair of the single sided rad mounts and 1 on each corner would give me more security over a set of the single sided mounts.

2 sets for one on each corner on the 240 rad and a 3rd set for opposite diagonal corners on the fan that ill be filling the bit of dead space with.

Yeah there are a few very similar to the MM ones floating about, but they all seem fairly expensive.

Gonna run to B&Q at the weekend and have a look if they do any small brackets like the EK UNI holders, if they do i can see them being a fair bit cheaper.

Like i said in my 2nd to last post, the plan is to mount a 240 rad with a 3rd fan below it (it fits the 10 bays i have perfect once you factor in the end tanks) so i dont think they will be to secure i also hate seeing "eh that will do" jobs for long term use. If your going to do something do it right.

Mmmm, they seem reasonable, would only take 2 seconds to spray when im spraying my case, the price is a killer tho, ill try find some in the uk and see how much they are, cheers for that

Sweet, just found them on there aswell just now , no idea why they are under server cases tho and not in the cooling section.....

If b&q dont have anything that will do the job for cheap similar to the EK brackets ill probably pick up a pair of these and cut out any material thats in the way if its an issue.
