460 Hawk

ok so i overclocked my GTX460 Hawk. and its at 905/1800/2130 and voltage is @ +80. i am getting artifacts on GTA 4 but it works TOTALLY fine on other games like bc2 and mw2. any suggestions?

some games are more stressy than others.

do you get them straight away or after say 30min.

up your fan speed to see if it helps

yea. i ran gpu z in the background and my temps are not even going over 65.

are ur volts at 1.087mv?

run the fan speed at say 60% turn auto off

it says on kombustor that my vaults are 1.012. and i get after 30 minutes.

dont use kombuster its crap.

look at afterburner that will say ur volts.

well if its after 30min that smells like its getting to hot so do the fan thing then report back

well all the afterburner says on the voltage is +60. in gpuz it says 1.012 volts too.

but imma go try the fan thing.

ok that didnt really help. btw its right when i launch the game i get artifacts. not really after 30 minutes.

heres a picture of the problem.

lowered the clocks to 880/1760/2020 and now its like much worst. its like christmas lights now.

hmmm try and run it stock

keep the fan at 100% for a lil bit,but they look big artifacts lol

stock works fine. i guess i have to use profiles for gta 4. just switch it to stock when im going to play it. thanks tho.

so its fine at stock no artifacts i assume the game is uptodate?

yea. cuz i cant run the game without updating. well multiplayer atleast since thats all i play now.

try a better stress test. run any of the 3dmark apps for about 20-30 loops.
