I currently have/had (I sent it in for an RMA not sure if it'll be repaired,
replaced or offered an upgrade) a reference GTX 780. My current funds are $1300
with a potential extra $100-$300 coming. I'll be purchasing around new years as
that's when I get my $850 bonus.
I was thinking about buying either of the following pairs of cards. Pricing does
not change greatly among vendors here in Melbourne.
EVGA classy: $1498.00 for 2
MSI lightning: $1458.00 for 2
EVGA 780 ref: $1358.00 for 2
MSI gaming: $1298.00 for 2
The EVGA classy is my personal favourite however it seems that the MSI gaming is
just too much value and too much performance to pass up especially with the AUD
so low. It bugs be because a month ago those MSI gaming cards were probably
closer to $600 each. Anyway if I have 2 MSI gaming GPU's could they in your
opinion sufficiently run 4320x2560 at playable frame rates.
Edit:
I have looked at bench marks, the majority aren't very good and they're hard to
find. Here's a decent one comparing Titan scaling up to quad sli
Other options are 3240x1920 which would look something like this, mind you
Vega is top when it comes to monitors.
I also like the way 3 Korean panels look. That 4320x2560
