4.6ghz 3770k Cinebench

I'm running on a Asus Maximus V Extreme with my 3770K. 16gigs of Corsair Platinum Dominators at 2133Mhz 9-11-10-27 1T.

My cinebench at 4.6 is 9.38, isnt that a little low ? Or is that just me ..

actually thats a lil better than par, considering 2600k w/HT @ 5.0 are
mustering 9.67-9.85pts on Cinebench 11.5..
and 2600k w/HT 4.7 9.25pts.. so if you are looking for 10+ (it is
possible) dig into the wallet for some moah money.. its time toSUPER-
OverClock.. 5.2MHz, 16+phase or better motherboard, 2400 RAM and
you gotcha 10+

9.38 at 4.6ghz is really good.I get 9.12 with a 4.5ghz oc.
Need 5ghz with my M5G+3770k+2400mhz ram to get 10.05 in cinebench.

What MOBO is better than the one he has? He is at the highest you can go with enthusiast boards within margin of error.

I think Airdeano was talking about getting a board with more power phases, to enable a higher overclock at the extreme side of things. A motherboard such as the Asus P8Z77-V DELUXE, for instance.

well the P series looks like crap, anyway reached 9.40 done some research, found out its pretty high for 4.6, thx guys

Can't you see? Well the LLC was on extreme so it bumped it up to 1.57+, PLL 1.625v >=D
Max temp was in the 80s If I can recall correctly =)
Can't wait for winter!

Don't know, don't care cuz I'm happy with 4,5GHz @ a tiny 1.25v (1.27 load)
Can't see any improvement over 4,5GHz at 5GHz, so I'm just playing it safe at this, cuz I want my computer to LIVE LONG/ER!!!
That was just fun on a cold night! More and MORE coming soon! >=]
+ my 570 is going to get some hell too!

Well okay, to answer your 5GHz question. It needs ~1.42v for it to run prime95... currently testing stability... I'll update you later onfftopic:

EDIT: Crashed>lowering PLL to 1.7v and messing about in DIGI+ power control...

@4.6 i got 8.86 with 8gb of 1866@1600.

I have to set up ram peoperly and gonna try get 4.8 with new cooler had a cm 612s was reaching mid to high 70's threw on a zalman cnps10x extreme is now maxing at mid 60's.

Do you really need 1.55v for 5.2GHz? What are your temps running at those volts?

I was running 5.3GHz and dropped it down but forgot to lower the voltage

On max load with HT on the max temp was 68°c using an H100 with Cooler Master R4's. Idle was 39°c.
