3tb will it be enough

I am gonna buy a WD 3TB caviar green desktop drive I was wondering if it will be enough for gaming and homework and everyday use I am gonna try and keep this for 3 years.

Only makes sense for storage not as a gaming/boot drive.
If you have so many questions about bits for a new rig why not start a thread in the new build advice section?
