3DMark 2006 Scores: Show It Off!

I was most unhappy when my system just got above 4500. My new one will hopefully be better

What were the specs for that score?

at 2.7 im at 225mhz. ddr450

i tried at 2.8, but i needed 1.5volts, 2.8v on ram, and still froze during 3dmark06.

i could try 2.9v on ram, but that is really pushing it isnt it?

currently at 2.7, im at 1.425, 2.7v on ram, and it passed memtest and 3dmark06. just gotta orthos it now, temps are reasonable, 57 peak.

help would be apreciated

its going to be hard to oc the ram anymore because u have 4 sticks of ram. having 2 sticks is much eaiser. ur lucky to get 225 out of it tbh.

to be honest its up to you. Ive got my ram sitting here @ 255fsb, 2.7v with a OCZ cooler on top of it.

i dont no much about ram OC, i no its high 2.9v, but how high would that be compared to cpu volts? 1.55? 1.6?

also, at these oc' settings, i find it a little laggy, like when im moving my folders around, its kinda choppy, what gives?

Got more to come on wednesday. Ive got a couple of 8800 Ultras coming. Some where near 18k hopefully. If the EVGA board can clock the Q6600 high, like 4.1 (dought it) i sould be able to get 20k.

Yeah stock cooler on the Ultra. Fan at 100%.

Should be able to clock abit higher 690-700 maybe. But the motherboard died before I had chance to do any more really.

These Ultras im getting on wednesday should overclock alot higher, 710-720 on the core with the stock cooler.

3 Ultras but my current EVGA ive sold to a freind and ill probaiblly sell one of the ones im getting on wednesday to a freind. So ill be left with only one.

just got a new xfx 8800 gtx and i'm scoring a low score in 3dmark 2006 (around 6500) .. i was asking .. could anybody tell me is this normal considering i'm running windows vista ultimate 32 bit with these specs:

intel pentium D 3.0 Ghz with 2mb cash

xfx GeForce 8800GTX

asus p5wd2 primium 955x mobo

2GB of bus 667 ram

hec 650w psu

lots of hard discs but all of them is WD 7200 rpm
