Yeah thats a pretty decent score mate :)

Its nice to get a good result, I am having trouble overclocking this XFX 7800GT as they come at 450mhz core and if i go any higher than 465mhz and click test changes it reports back unstable. Should this report be ignored and try a 3dmark test to see what the stableness is like or should i listen to what it tells me as i have never overclocked a nvidia card before.

Thanks, Sam

Use Riva Tuner and disable the "internal clock test".

Your card shouold make it a bit further :)

Use RTHRIBL to test stability, as well as ATI tools :)

Here's what my setup pulls w/ my Opty @ 2.9 and vid cards at 450/1150. I volt modded the BIOS's on both of my vid cards again and they seem to be running peachy, better than the last time I vmodded em thats for sure. I don't think I've been able to run 450mhz stable on these eVGA's before, but they worked out nicely this time, I'm even thinking about trying to bump em up a bit higher as I was getting no artifacting at all.

So you did break down and get yourself a x1900 :p Did you actually get an XTX (I know you say such a waste, so I doubt that), flash an XT to an XTX, or did it just recognize as an XTX cause of the high clock? Nice anyway:D

not yet. The core is at 702 mhz and memory at 795 mhz. I might get some ramsinks to see whether I can go higher. The core sure as hell prolly has some more in it. It barely goes over 40C after 4 hours of bf2.

@ WC. - It is an 1900xt. Not an xtx . For some reason it shows up as xtx on 3dmark. Ohh well . Still learning how to oc the radeon cards. The image quality in the driver was set to quality. So I can still prolly go higher. Lets see how I can do.
