Personally I think the high-end single core procs from AMD are always going to own the gaming world.

Reasons for Matt wanting AMD dual core:

AMD are for gamers....no arguments...they just are.

However, I have never had an Intel with HT (although I've used a couple). I like the way that stuff gets dealt with quicker with HT.

I would like it if I could let my PC do stuff while I was gaming...feels a waste otherwise.

The Dual Core, however, will get me both benefits in one nice package....and hopefully I can afford one at the same time as getting the PCI-E platform.

I've also heard tell of a prog that lets your games play on one core and cues all the other tasks on the other core....meaning smooth gaming and not worrying about windows crashing on me!

I dunno.. You have watercooling and have your GT clocked the same as my Ultra, also you will be able to get a great overclock with your Diego on water :jerkit:

Yeah, the NV5 had shitloads of dust in it which hindered my overclocking (which is why it took so long to beat your score).. Blew it out and got back up there
