360 for £60

Just got myself a 360 for £60, only problem is there is paint on the case lol. Sorted.

Hardware-wise the PS3 is fantastic.. not only in performance but with quality. Unfortuatly the software side of things is lacking, OS and games.

But then don't get me started on the fan boy Wii.

It is really simple.

Mostly, all they need is a metal X-grip to get the heatsink fitted tighter. As well as a much better thermal paste.

I have also lobbed in a piece of cardboard between the GPU and CPU to divide the fans so one if the CPU and one for the GPU. Seems to be pushing a lot more hot air out the back now. Oh and works like a dream.

But if you are considering it.. be warned that you may be able to recover it from a RROD but then get another error. So yeah.. be careful.

Yeah i've heard of the X-clamp mod before, and you can get some better fans off Amazon for like a tenner

Pretty good deal overall though.. much better than paying 200 for PS3. Although if the PS3 had the 360s OS then I would be there.

lets be honest here, they all try to implement better versions of other consoles software.

With a starting price of £30 for a rrod one, that'd be pretty impressive.

IMO the PS3's OS is a lot better than the Xbox's.

Just my opinion mind you.

I would get an Xbox for £60 though, even though I am a huge Sony fanboi.

Only if 360's could fold. All chip in to buy some busted 360s. Fix em up and have a folding farm. Now who would provide electricity

The 360 interface is aimed at children with stupid childish charactors and bright shiny colours. The PS3 interface is slick and professional looking with easy quick one-look access to anything you need.
