£300, spend on MB, Chip and ram.

dam dude that was quick xD

what did you go with?

1 x Asus Sabertooth X58 Socket 1366 8 Channel HD Audio ATX Motherboard

1 x Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz Socket 1366 8MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor

1 x (free accessory) Shogun2 Total War Voucher

1 x G-Skill 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 2133Mhz RipjawsX Memory Kit CL9 (9-11-9-28-2N) 1.6V

I know its not top of the line gear or any thing but it will suit it purpose of replacing my seriously reliable q6600 that ive had running at 3.8 Ghz for over 2 years now.

Ill be getting rid of 2 pcs once this lot has landed on my door step.

Im going to order a new water block for it next week as well then slip in my white coolant and see some yummy over clocks hopefully. All so the case im going out do with lots of gold vinyl goodness on my plotter. Think it will all go nice and smoothly togther hopefully.

Can imagine Green (not fluoresce green but army green mixed with white to give it a pale colour) on one side and pure white on the other .... or Gold and white, again not shitty clear dye colour but some of my micro gold in a goldish white fluid.

it was only supposed to be £300 to spend haha.

Lovely long shopping list there ha, id hate to see how much you would end up spending if you gave yourself a £1000 budget.
