£300 for GPU

So the burning question most people are asking.
Is it better to get R9 390 or GTX 970.
Have £300 to spend on gpu and I am torn. Looking at the MSI 390 Gaming or MSI 970 Gaming. So it is literally a case of 8GB Memory vs Physx + ShadowPlay.

You are going to need better than a FX6100 to see the benefits of those cards i had a 6100 with a HD7950 for a little wile and it was bottlenecked back then even running a 4.9Ghz

i found the plays.tv dvr recoding in the raptr software is pretty good also, just felt a little more temperamental than shadowplay.

The only issue I had with ShadowPlay was that it would occasionally lose audio when I used 7.1 instead of 5.1

Just found I had money in my PayPal from selling my 680 so might go to the GTX980 and then never upgrade again for a few years lol
