300$ budget, idea's?

So I just got my bonus at work, and I plan to spoil myself a little bit.

My budget is close to 300, slightly over or slightly under depending on people's idea's.. it's not 300$ on the dot.

That being said, I'm not impartial to nvidia or radion personally.. and it's the first of many pieces for a new build, however I can use it in my current build so it's the smartest thing to purchase as of now.

That beings aid, I'm looking for the best bang for my buck, where will my 300$ best be suited for a gpu?

Other general info.. I dont really play FPS's.. I play mmo's, rts's more so.

If I left anything else out important feel free to ask.. and yes i have a psu and motherboard that will support the card.

Thanks in advance guys!

I'd suggest having a look through TTL's reviews. In my opinion get a Nvidia 560 or 570. They seem to be doing better than the ATIs this time around. But again look through the reviews.

Well the MSI GTX570 Twin Frozer 3 would be the best option, but that costs $369. If you were able to fork out the money I would get that. If you couldn't the MSI GTX560 Ti Hawk, since it has unlocked voltages for full overclocking goodness.

But one thing what resolution do you play at? because if you play at 2560x1600 (or whatever it is) the 6950 would be the better choice since that extra gig of RAM would become useful, but at 1080p I would go for the 560, since it's better value for money and would also perform better in games at 1080p or below. And with the $35 you have left over you can...buy...8 McDonald Happy Meals?

But yeah MSI GTX560 Ti HAWK!

Wish I would've waited went with the ati, and i game at 1920x .. Oh well

Regardless it's a HUGE leap over my ice q 4 so i'm sure it will be night and day to me either way.

Not to mention seeing the link ruthless posted bums me out, damn my rush. Could've saved some green too.

Could've saved some more and got the card Zeals mentioned as well, don't know why the gold edition costs more. 560 Hawk.

EDIT: Forgot to add this, is it too late to cancel your order?

I realy have to strongly reccomend a GTX 570, my EVGA one works a treat! very fast, overclocks well with the stock voltages doesnt get to hot and not to loud either. 10/10 for me Price:performance ratio.
