3 screens or 1 ?

I would have to say that gaming across three monitor is something i was hesitant on doing for a while as the cost was high, but also whether i really needed to.

I then decided to build myself a new computer just for gaming, no bloteware, and just stick the games, as such I got myself a GTX590 and decided that gaming across three monitors is something i'd really like to do.

Now let me be honest, gaming across three monitors (again my opinion) is great, and once you've gamed with three, you could never go back to the single monitor, as it just feels, as if you're missing out on something on the other 2 side monitors.

With that said, even when gaming you don't tend to even look at the other 2 monitors on the sides, it just gives you a more immersive feeling while gaming, and adds that little extra to your gaming experience, but again you don't tend to keep looking at them.

My experience with games such as BF3 over 3 monitors has been great, and has in some occasion saved my bacon, where i was able to see the enemy just in the corner of my eye, in one of the side monitors.

If you're looking at increasing your gaming experience, I would definitely go for it. If you're a casually gamer, and browse website more than anything, then running across three monitor, might not be the best thing, and you could spend the money on extra ram or a new graphics card or something.

I hope this helps,

I create a few videos a very long time ago about one of my computers. I hope these give you a little insight.

All the best mate, and happy gaming!

I agree totally with the above quote. I too started with 1 screen and 1 graphics card but the thought of a full wrap round did appeal. after a month or so i decided to go for it and to be honest.....I'm glad i did it. I do a lot of research and write medical papers so having multiple screens is a blessing as i can review multiple sources of information simultaneously.

Gaming: I play BF3, skyrim, Flight sim Batman and a few others - all of which look awesome. Yes depending on your setup and OC abilities, FPS is something that will drop, but setup correctly my FPS isn't even an issue and all the above games mentioned play flawlessly even when all settings are maxed out.

Long story short - would i suggest opting for the 3 screens..... Yes

I hope this helps

Kind Regards

I use my desktop at hoe for work and play, thus dual monitors for my type of work was natural. So moving to 3 monitors made a lot more sense than 1 large one as it would negatively affect my work.

I do tell all my friends that ask me about it however to come over to my house try it out for themselves before they settle in either direction and I suggest the same thing to you. Find someone who has a triple monitor setup and try it yourself before you sink money into it in either direction.

Well I went for it and have ordered 3 LG 22" ips led full hd screens. Will see what they are like and hope I have made the right choice lol.

you can't ever have enough screens i guess. i have two atm and i can't imagine living with only one screen anymore. i want a third screen, well that has to wait. but i will do it, definitely.

LOL Gone back to 1 screen, Black Ops 2 is not properly supported and using the likes ot widescreen fixer etc just distorts it or causes it to look like its laggy. In windows and possibly with supported games it would be good but tbh my 27" 120hz is 100 times better for me.

and now you did what with the screens? sent them back? you usually use 3 screen for work or for multitasking, for games it's not really worth it.

I'd love to get myself a tripple screen setup although I can't go back from having a 26'' to something like 3 x 22'' or 3 x 24'' ... :/

Looks amazing though

I just recently took the plunge and, overall, I am liking it so far. As you have no doubt learned with COD, not all games are going to work this way but when they do it is engrossing. Just make sure you change your in-game settings accordingly and definitely try to invest in a second graphics card if you haven't already.
