I have a question here, not to appear too dumb, but cos unbelievably I`ve only got 1 ddr2 pc here and my nephew uses it, but - with the speed of these mem strips being 6400, is it the case that this rating is good for newer mobos and u can get a good oc on them, or is it like ddr1 where 400 is the mostly "manufacturer based limit", but if u got 500 u can oc u`r processor much more without worrying about being tied to a % over 400.
Reason I ask is that I see 8500?? speed ddr2... soo apart from the price, why don`t peoples get this ?
Is it that 8500 is way over the mobo "mbl" or what is the standard limit of a ddr2 based mobo, by fsb?
