23" 120 Hz IPS

As long as the response time is 5ms or lower, because at 120Hz you really can't afford to have any higher.(1000/120=8.3ms per refresh). Otherwise its not going to be good for gaming.

Wouldn't have thought Mitsubishi would be coming out with this sort of products either :\ But oh well, the more the merrier.

Download the executable one put it on a USB stick when you go to the shops, then ask em to demonstrate it for you.

You will be able to compare what you have at home with whats in the shops,

remember to fiddle with screen settings as not all manufacturers calibrate the monitors to perfection.

This is for the colors, the response time will be a subjective evaluation that you make for yourself.

Still not seeing what i am supposed to see. supposedly my monitor was not supposed to see all the colors (it did) and i was not supposed to see all the shades of grey, (which i did). i dont mean to sound ignorant but i am still not getting this test, even after reading everything?

Well its a question on color accuracy and viewing angles. The angles is for people using triple monitor setups, they have reported color degradation on the 2 slightly diagonal side monitors. The 100% color accuracy is mostly for professionals like photo and video work, where its vital that the colors on the screen match reality.

King you have a good screen and as you report you have good quality on the test, so there is no need for you to upgrade yet.

I understand the color accuracy, there are some of the 2560x1600 displays with a color gambit in the billions while mine is only 16.7mil so i can see were there needs are at. and i dont use eyefinity (yet) although i would consider a LED for eyefinity because of its HUGE viewing angle with little to no color degradation.

LED has nothing to do with the viewing angle, its just the source of light behind the panel. The panel type dictates the view angle.

I dont think that's true at all, LED Monitors have a superior viewing angle to anything i have seen (maybe its a coincidence but i doubt it). And OLED is even better than that. My samsung galaxy S phone is OLED and i could look at from ANY angle and have ZERO color problems.

Your Samsung phone has an AMOLED screen which is a different panel type

The only thing they share is the TFT layer. This tech has only been used in small screens, since they had truble producing larger screens wit that technology, but Sony is starting to show off some TV´s with OLED displays.

LED when it comes to computer monitors only refer to the to the light behind the screen.

Plasma screens have the best viewing angles, the only reason the viewing angle may be less than 180 deg. is because the bezel around it juts out slightly.
