Well, I guess I'll post up my Rig. FYI all the good stuff is at the bottom.

Just a little background; I hadn't really built a new rig since 2008 so I figured it was a little over due to upgrade. The only thing I've done that I can remember since then was get a GTX 460 (from an 8800GT) and the Corsair 800D case (from some old hand-me-down). Here's what it looked like before.

Intel Q6600 Core 2 Quad
Asus 775 motherboard
4GB RAM (only had 2 of the 4 dims in place during photo)
Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200RPM
600W PSU
Asus DVD optical drive
Windows Vista
GTX 460
Corsair 800D

Now we move to a couple days ago. TIME TO UPGRADE!
People were asking about prices so what I paid is listed below (as of July 2013), does not include shipping (in USD). Some where on sale, some I didn't care a bought it anyway. I had a $2000 USD budget in mind, SINCE I already had my 800D so I did come in just over buy $90, oh well.

Intel i7-4770k (OC'd to 4.5Ghz) - $249.99
Gigabyte z87x-ud3h - $159.99
EVGA GTX 780 OC'd ACX - $669.99
Corsair H100i (waiting on screws to do 4x Gentle Typhoon push/pull) - $109.99
Corsair 8GB RAM Vengeance Pro (1600mhz) - $77.99
Corsair 800D case - $269.99
Corsair AX850i - $209.99
Samsung 840 Pro 128GB (:slap: I should have gotten a 256GB ) - $149.99
Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 2TB - $99.99
Asus DVD read/ write - $19.99
Lian-Li Triple 5.25" bay adapter for 120mm fan - $32.99
4x Gentle Typhoon AP-15 (I can't believe I found some!) - $24.97 = $99.88
3x Corsair AF-140 quiet - $18.99 = $56.97
Windows 7 Pro OEM - $139.99
Total = $2347.79 (Before shipping) for parts

haha yeah i thought that first one would be fun to compare. Thanks on the cable management! It took a decent while to make everything flow and be clean. I'm really happy the way it turned out... maybe i'll post of pic of the back tomorrow.

Ohemgeee, you barbarian! You had a micro-ATX board in an 800D!

Looks so much better now though, nice upgrade. Could use some more pics.

Love the UD3H! Now get some Silver Vengeance Pro sticks to get the sexy effect Tom had in one of his vids! ;)
Looking good too! :D

Do you guys think I should get single sleeve cables? If so what color; blue, black, or both?

looks good.
where did you put those gentle typhoons?

I got them at Frozencpu they had 17 i think in stock, so i bought 2 to compare with the sp120 performance... then i went back to look at other stuff and they only had 2 left so bought those also lol. I also had them sleeved and replaced the white 3 pin connector to a black one.

there are 2 between the rad and the case in a pull exhaust set up. I'm waiting for more screws to add two more to make it a push/pull exhaust set up.

Nice rig, great specs too. What do you use it for primarily?

Which typhoons exactly? And how do they compete to do the sp120s performance editions?

I'm switching back to PC gaming from console... back to my roots i guess you could say. Yeah, i upgraded the case a while back and it looked really funny so i had to take a picture lol.

they are the AP-15's, the 1850rpm. I don't have any video or tests done, but i can tell you they are quieter and seem to move the same amount of air through the rad (mind you i tried them before putting them in teh case). However i can't imagine there are giant temp differences.
All in all i am very happy with the ap-15s; i can hear them moving the air but thats about it, and it gets drowned out by literally another noise source, such as any game/ video/ music playing through my speakers... even my vent lol.

Video i found on youtube, similar to what i was hearing before i put it in my system.

^^^ To be fair the Corsair Sp fans aren't exactly quiet anyway but thanks for the information:p

Very true. But for the +/- 1 or 2* C difference between the two I prefer the GT's. although the Corsairs are readily available pretty much every where and are a good fan.
