I think there are some happy happy ppl... grats!
This was my first time around , with an OC3D comp, wow what madness!!!
I didn't win, so what, somebody did and now its over..... I'm just glad I have my "show new post" tab back and we can get back to what it's all about...
Just because 2nd place doesn't show up on the members list doesn't mean a forum member didn't win. Imagine some bloke away on business who entered from every e-mail of every person he knows, and forgot about the competition, because he has a life (you know a family to feed) Imagine his suprise when he gets contacted next week, and is truly greatful for the machine, and uses it to join out comunity.
personally I'll take that over the hundreds who just joined the night before the winners were announced, spammed the site all night long with nothing creative to add other than hitting a F5 button a million times to see if they got free shit or not, didn't win, aired out their hard feelings and we will never hear from them again.
As for the compitition I think it was a great success!!! It did its job, Tom was a very masterful DJ of the whole thing and did his part, now I'm gonna do mine, which I kinda look forward too, receiving an E-mail from the sponsors, I kinda want to see what they are so willing to show use that they would put up that much money in kit for........
If the sponsors are happy I'm happy and we can do it all again next year, Imagine what kit we would have then ,where a z77 system will be third place!!!
Next year I'm skipping all the drama, I'll just enter and if I receive the E-mail I won than I'll shit my pants, but I don't know if I can handle the dark side of the competition, you know the stuff under the bridge........leeches, and trolls.
Congrats to you guys that won, keep the faith, the ones that didn't, and the ones with hurt feeling hurry up and leave!!(you know who you are)
