I completely agree bro^^^ anything we can do to help, I think is amazing. And as far as all this nonsense about coalfire and oil and nuclear power.... How's that green energy doing??? LOLZ Bankrupting nations and sending people into poverty!!! You cant force new energy down people's throats, the free market will determine when it becomes the mainstay, just like it's always done. So stop starving families and making nations insolvent with false promises of false technology. and.... GO Hump a whale sir....
 
Can't wait for the announcements, going to be some very happy people in the next few weeks. I have even held off my current project incase i am one of the the lucky buggers haha

If I'd win I'd probably give this comp to my friend so he can finally play HL1 mods with more than 20fps.

Well if you can remember from the 1st place video Tom said that he would post either on here or in a video wasn't quite clear which but i'd imagine it would be by video about when he will be announcing the winners so we can all be online at the same time to find out live whose won.

Yeah but the problem with that is if anything goes wrong then it means a lot of messing about trying to get the stream up again keeping people waiting, it's much more easier, simpler and a lot less to go wrong to just edit the front page or make a different thread with the details of the winners
 
The major point is that this isn't giving away some random HW, but exclusively assembled and ready, complete tested machines. I think the joy of realizing an amount of efforts put into these rigs, would be much bigger, than the feeling of winning itself.

Once again, good luck to everyone, and big thank to Tom, OC3D, sponsors for this contest. It is without doubts one of most anticipated things this year.

Yeah! Positive thinking is a key to health and growth. However it's often so hard to keep own mind clean for at least a day.
 
Yeah this comp is so generous and the work that's gone into the builds is just awesome. Can't really thank Tom and the crew enough.

WHOEVER WINS SHOULD OVERCLOCK THE HELL OUT OF THERE MACHINES AND SHOW US THE RESULTS.......... IF ANYBODY DARE PLAYES FARMVILLE THEY SHOULD BE SHOT........... IF THEY PLAY THE SIMS THEN THEY SHOULD BE SHOT TWICE................ I WANNA SEE BATTLEFIELD 3 AND WHATEVER OTHER GPU RAPING GAMES THERE ARE OUT THERE,,,,, RESOLUTIONS SHOULD BE NO SMALLER THAN 8960X5670 OH Think i better shut up before i get banned..............
