With a competition like this and the amount of people who wanted to know if they had won, I am not suprised the server fell over thinking "oh my god what are they trying to do to me".

Think the next time if you do this again, then you might need to let them know before hand so they can move you do a better server with a larger bandwidth allocation.
 
Damn i fell asleep after 4am with my phone besides me and am glad to see the winners haven't been announced yet. Would have missed all the fun and excitement.
 
WOW just read through most of the comments since last night and some people need to step back and relax. Even if Tom pulled the plug and said balls to ya all no one is getting anything nobody could blame him, theres a lot of people moaning n complain about what ? summit u MIGHT get for f**k all. Even if he waits another month what yall gotta lose ?....ffs give the guy time he's obviously a busy guy and after last night prolly stressed da fick. Lets take it easy , give him time and hope he calls out ya name. Good Luck .
 
Didn't have a chance to check who won last night, but looking at the posts I presume I didn't miss much

At what point did Tom use the world "Promise"? He promised nothing, he said 9PM BST, but like Winkie says, he has every right as a man giving away free stuff to choose when he does so, no given time or date comes with a promise, especially when we kill the website he was going to announce on. Besides, the chances of winning are so low that the longer this is dragged out the more excitement us losers get from the whole event

It's like the lottery, everyone has a CHANCE of winning but are you going to complain if they decide to push a lottery draw back a day from when it normally occours due to a hardware problem? no, so don't complain in this instance.

Why did you even bother to enter the competition when you dont believe in OC3D? This isn't the first time they are hosting a competition and hardware problems can occur anytime. Just scratch your nutsack if its botherin you too much and have patience.

He never promised. He said he'd try. He's only one man, not a bloody mirical worker. You tell me, how you're going to control a server crash when there's 1'000 plus people crashed it. You can't control those things.

Now all you ungreatful buggers, rack off and go play Tetris until it's time, instead of sitting here, moaning like little wimpy children. Honestly, if this was my competition, I'd remove anyone who complains. Tom is handing you guys thousands of dollars worth of hardware, and you can't be happy unless it's done when you say and you want. Be glad you're getting something. Be glad if it was a tube of thermal paste. It's free, and in this world, anything free is wonderful. It's even more wonderful when a person has devoted hours of their time, and companys have given parts for you to enjoy.

Now all of you's, get over yourselves, and wait until the results are up. Honestly after reading through the last few pages, if I see another complain I really feel like blowing my top. Ungreatful...

(apologies for the little rant there).

You aint seen not'n yet, Wait untill after the winners are announced, then you will get to hear the complaining and accusations from a handful. anything from how it is BS a guy that has 1 post gets to win, or if someone local wins its probably tom giving a pc to his buddy lol. You wait and see lol Just a few guys like that though.
