rig specs are
asus rampage v ed 10

ekwb predator 280 aio ( had to re-drill a couple of holes to move it back a bit)
corsair ml 140 fans x3
corsair ml 120 fan
seasonic snowsilent 1050
sm961 512 m.2
WD black 4tb storage drive
asus 1070 oc in sli
G.Skill trident rgb 3200 32gb ( although some might spot it was corsair in an earlier photo )

Wow, that's some first rig you have there! Great job :D Also good to hear EK were good with replacement!

How long was it leaking before you noticed? How was the cleanup? Just wondering as I'd like to go fully custom water in the future

Hi and thankyou ,, didn't notice it at first thought i was going mad kept on hearing air bubbles then i checked it , cant have been long poss a couple of days , but ekwb were i have to say great , once i followed there rma system they , kept me up to date as we got the problem sorted , i thought about custom loop but as my first attempt at this , thought an AIO was the better option for me

Glad to hear it was sorted though :D And lets hope for no more leaks!

Hi All
As it was not a new build just a rebuild i decided to put this on the end of my original build so that you can see the changes i have made over the last months

DSC_0010 (1).jpg

thumbnail_DSC_0081.jpg

first my new graphics card , and then the strip out of the front of the 780t as i wanted to fit a 360 rad in the front of case even though TTl did say it was a challenge to get it in

DSC_0034-1280x720.jpg

after having to slightly slot the front screw holes as they would not line up and order some slightly longer rad screws , as that front panel in not flat , ready to take out the predator aio

my first go at a custom loop , did swap the fans around and put the corsair ml on the inside ,
then used the pump bracket to mount pump to the bottom fan to try and keep it tidy

fitted a ek 280 coolstream rad in top to replace the 280 predator , and used the fans from the front of my case for it DSC_0032-1280x720.jpg

starting to come together now , another slight hick up though , which i will have to sort at a later date , although 3 120 fans just about fit behind the front grill , then the grill wont go back on without a fight , so for ease i will live with the 2 for now DSC_0038-1280x720.jpg

DSC_0043-1280x720.jpg

bit of cable management although i'm far from perfect , and re position my hard drive

then the final bit of the puzzle , after lots of if and but and thinking of changing my platform , i manged to pick up this beast , at a good price , :)

and finally the finished project DSC_0044-1280x720.jpg

after living with the red for a couple of days it was a bit bright , so opted for blue ,
and in aura software used starry night as it halves the brightness too :)

So after 8 months of swapping thing and playing i'm finally there or as close as i will be
just like to thank TTL for his video's too ,as if i hadn't found them and got inspired by his simple too understand and informative approach i would have never tried

Hope you all like the pics
