Yep water cooled - your air cooled score is impressive on air I was thermal throttling after 10seconds LOL

Nooooooooooooooo thermal throttling I hate that word grrrrrrrr well these asus cards I am unsure how bad they do or dont throttle

They do throttle although I think theya re different to others as they use their own temp probe.

Drop you max overclock by 10mhz on the clock (leave ram the same) and see if you score better - if you do then you are thermal throttling.

Whats the best 7800GTX card to get out of interest? Gigabye seem to be one of the cheapest..

I got Galaxy units which will overlcock to 500/1400.

Scorchios will go to 520/1400, I dont see many others getting much over that andthese cost £382each.

BFG and XFX sell the highest clocked units available - unitl Dazboots gets his up and running I am not sure if that results in higher overclocks than any other 7800.

I am happy with my purchase.
