Hi all, have just bought myself a new card and plugged it into my 32" tv (via hdmi)

Yet when i try to set my display as 1080p it doesnt fit into my display (is like it has a frame around it) so i now have to use the 1360x768 resolution in order to view full screen. Is there any way around this. Have been used to the nvidia control panel where it doesnt have this issue.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

That sounds like a timing issue to me mate. I don't recall exactly what it's called on the nvidia cards but you need to adjust something like hd/1080p overdrive. I get the exact opposite on a smaller screen but changing this timing tab (wish I could remember what it was called) allows you to fill the screen properly.

Its not coming from the Graphics card it is coming from the T.V. settings, mess with the aspect ratio on the T.V. I had the same problem with mine then I changed the T.V. yo a "Just Scan" setting and it fits the screen perfectly.

Overscan/underscan issue? Open your nvidia/amd software

+1 for this ^^^^^

I had it on mine, adjusted overscan to 0% as it installed at 15% underscan.

Problem was resolved for me, full screen resolution no black border anymore.

HTH
