Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

New trolley jack, a 4.5" hole saw for making some fan holes in a side panel, a deburring tool and some knipex automatic wire strippers.

Settled on this, not as powerful but slightly bigger and much, much quieter, no constant whistling noise is just a joy.

Intel 10300h with a gtx 1650 is still plenty for the games i play and i don't need them on screaming high settings.

Pulled a trigger on one of these

679€ for 4750U, 16G and 512Gb nVME was too hard to pass. I was looking for a smaller form factor device but I can deal with a 15.6" laptop.
Friend made an observation that it's actually in 1x16Gb configuration, so ordered another 16GB 3200MHz CL20 stick. Mainly to keep iGPU happy.

Irony. Nearly got these for the front of my surround system but settled on something with larger drivers. Finally I found a decent black friday deal, so pulled the trigger on these for the rear.

Just need a new amp for them now. Have the funds, but don't want to be lugging gear up all day. So will wait until they arrive, then order the new amp.

Splashed some cash and picked up one of these.. sadly no on sale at all :(

Dyson V11 Absolute Extra Pro

DYSON-V11-Absolute-Extra-Pro-%28NEW%29---Kabelloser-Staubsauger-%28Nickel-Blau%29

I kid you not. Its the best I have ever tried. I had a dyson before and I tested my rug with the old one first and then this.

When I used the V11 on the second cleaning, it still picked up enough dust to fill the container by 25%.. thats after using my Dyson DC33.

OK so the EVGA NU Audio.

It's excellent. At first I didn't think it was quite as exciting as my Asus, but over a longer period with more styles of music it's better at pretty much everything. It doesn't have the super low drop of the Asus, but I think that was more of an annoyance than anything (I don't want to get into trouble with my landlord).

It does have clicky relays though, however they only seem to click when changing the KHZ. Of which this will do 384. So Hi Res audio on this is much more pronounced and I can hear the difference now. Not enough to make me care, but yeah it's nice.

Just bought this stuff to play with.

Lucky dog! Still waiting on mine, and I'm not expecting a Christmas miracle in Canada, most likely won't land till 2021.

Yeah, lucky as hell, saw it come instock on Thursday afternoon, arrived this morning.

Still trying to get my head around the new PBO settings, currently running with a 5mv negative curve.

Temps are way lower than my 3950x with the H115i.

Here is some single core boost stats:

@TTL, now all the GPU side of things has calmed down and you got your website fixed, how about one of your old school overclocking vids showing us this new PBO stuff on the 5000 series?

Picked this up, not seeing the LED glow tab settings in the trixx software for my card, it didn't come with a cable so i'm hoping this will work and solve the issue and if it still don't show up in settings that the motherboard can control it through the software i have for that, cause atm it's a rainbow disco :D

The new monitor to go with the new gpu, I looked at a bunch of them this seemed the best value with decent features. I like that it has some usb ports and such on the back might actually use them, Curved 1500R 1440p 144hz freesync premium pro HDR, it'll be with me friday :)

I always rate Iiyama monitors got a 27" up in the loft as it kept switching on and off it is 6 years old though so served its time

That sounds like the same panel as my Asus ROG.

I was just about to say "Check to see if it works with Gsync. If it doesn't it is probably the same as mine, and you need to drop to 120hz to stop flickering with Gsync enabled" and then it dawned on me you are red team :D

Enjoy. If it's anything like mine you are going to frickin love it.

There is a bunch of them that are kinda similar but they are all different variations but this one i picked mainly for the freesync premium pro and HDR, but the one thing I love atm on my card is VRR it's real nice but i guess less of a thing on a 144hz panel since my main screen will become my 2nd the other one back into it's box.

It was £335 so a fairly big buy for me but i hope it's nice it'll get some cyberpunk usage atm

400 nits is not great. I doubt you will be able to enable it 24/7 on desktop. Mine goes dark. Works in game like you wouldn't believe, but yeah desktop looks bad.

I love the curve on mine. It's really immersive.

Well I almost was going to buy a asus tuf one, but it had real mixed reviews that was £400 so this was a fair bit cheaper and better than most of the others at least for around the same money and screen size.

Oculus Rift S

I know there are plenty of options for VR but it's hard to find them much cheaper than this, plus I didn't want to buy 2nd hand which limits my options. It's hard to beat this and I didn't want to play over wifi have enough issues with steam link at times let alone video streaming into my eyeballs. Obviously it's for half life alyx :P I picked up 2 extention cables as well 2meters long each just in case, but i am going to enjoy it. It'll be my first time playing VR and i'll either fall madly in love with the tech or sell it on quickly lol

The facebook thing isn't much of an issue to me atm maybe in a few years it might be but until then i'll take the risk as is and try an experience i haven't done up until now :D
