Right guys, I'm back after my adventures with a nzxt 210 hacking it too bits really wet my appetite for something bigger, better more extreme even.

Well anyways this is whats planned. Wont start the build till all my parts are here so mid next week.

Im going to be building with most of the components that were in my Nzxt case plus a lot more goodies. So here is a as yet incomplete list of all the stuff I have or that I'm waiting for

Case - Silverstone Custom White & Black Powdercoated TJ10
Mobo - Z77 Mpower
CPU - I5 3570k
Ram - Corsair Vengeance 8 GB 1600
GPU - 2 x Gigabyte wf3 7950s (unfortunately ver2 so no full blocks pfft)
PSU - ZT 750w fully modular

Water Cooling

- Black ICE GTX480 & GTX240 with BitFenix Spectre Fans
- 2x 18W DDC pumps withe white EK dual top v2 and res
- Swiftech Apogee HD Universal CPU Waterblock : White
- Swiftech MCW82 Universal Graphics Card Waterblock : White

Swiftech Dual Slot SLI/CrossFire Bridge 40.6mm (1.6") Spacing White- White Tubing
- Black EK compression fittings
- a few phobya 45's and 90's
- Nzxt sentry mesh fan controller for the pumps and fans.
- Bitenix recon LED controller.

and the rest of the gubbins like paste, extra cables etc etc.

I will be hoping to start on this on Tuesday and will get some pictures up of some of the parts in the next day or so.

I also have a Tbalancer BigNG and Mini NG so may well end up using those but im unsure atm on this.

Thanks for reading this so far.

Something different for a change

- Black ICE GTX480 & GTX240 with BitFenix Spectre Fans

Thought I'd mention this: Martin did a review on the GTX, and found it to have excellent cooling performance, although it requires some serious fan power for that since it has quite heavy air resistance.

If you're running something that's rather low speed like the Spectres I suggest at least push-pull if not more powerful blowers. I was looking at the GTX for my next build but decided on the SR-1 for this reason. Having said that, they are seriously sexy rads.

Anyway, looks to be a nice rig, looking forward to pics :)

I have some yate loons here also which are marginally better and no I wont be going push pull on any of the rads not enough space unfortunately unless mounted externally and that will look horrid .

apologies for the delay in this but specialtech have royally screwed me over so as yet im waiting for parts...

Haha, yeah, delivery delays are part of watercooling. I think it's some sort of requirement that you have to meet for entering the industry

Obviously I'm not familiar with the specifics in this case, but usually it's not the resellers' (such as specialtech) but instead the manufacturers' fault, who just have problems meeting demand at certain times (Aquacomputer was absolutely horrible at this for a while, although nowadays they seem to have cleaned up their act for the most part).

Okay then finally some stuff turned up so here is the parts shots for you guys.

fans mmm

killing what ?

paste and some connections for the fans.

cookies and heatsinks mmm

Graphics blocks and bridge.

CPU block

Fan controller

And finally some of the case as you can see the 240 is in the floor already.

Keep tuned for more updates soon.

After having extensively considered the most appropriate expression of my emotional state concerning the above pictures (and especially the white rads) the conclusion was reached to express said state thusly:

:dribble: :dribble: :dribble:

Seriously though, those rads look the balls. And the rest ain't nothing to sneeze at either ;)

How did you get those nice white rads? Custom order or after-market paint job?

got a bit lucky mate and got a steal of a deal for the case pumps, rads, fans and a few other things and they were already powder coated etc etc so I cant really take credit for that. I'm only doing minor mods in the scheme of things to fit certain items like led controllers etc etc and ofcourse fitting the loop.
